I have recently joined Paltalk and am getting a feel for this free app. Paltalk is a place you can join and also create chat rooms for free. It has thousands of rooms internationally. People can chat by typing , talking threw a mic, video/webcam chat, thee is also a free app available for a face-time like function for you Iphone, android device, or blackberry .

I've found that paltalk has some decent educational rooms and has a neat function that allows the admin or moderator to control who is speaking. People can raise there hand and only one person is speaking at a time threw the mic.
